Alfons' mission centers around saving us from squirrels. A perfect day includes off leash runs in the woods with a swim in the river. While at home, hobbies includes stealing trash, begging for fries and always greeting everyone entering a room with a shoe. Truly a Swedish gentle dog!

Coco Bean Broncheau is 4 years old and is half black lab and half golden retriever (Goldador). She loves the water and digging. She is the princess of the house and I am lucky to get to live there. Her favorite is going to Dutch Bros to get her Pupaccino's as a treat.

Buddy (Golden Retriever) is all about adventure! He loves nothing more than exploring Minto-Brown Park in Salem, tearing a part the latest toy from Barkbox with enthusiasm, and cooling off with a good swim in the pool.

Coupe (Pug / Boston-Terrier Mix) is the ultimate chill companion. He enjoys cozying up on the couch, taking leisurely strolls through the park, and indulging in long, relaxing naps.

Maverick is a mini aussie with the wiggliest butt and a big attitude. He lives for fetch, snacks, car rides, and morning snuggles. Maverick is basically a tiny man trapped in a dog’s body.

Sally is my roommate's cat who enjoys reclining, lounging, and now modeling.

Gladys is a 16-year-old rescue. She is living her best retirement life sleeping on the windowsill and watching ocean documentaries. We love to make up past lives Gladys lived in the 12 years before we adopted her. She’s been a spy, an explorer, a hitwoman, and many other elaborate personas before her time as our house elder.

Dolly

Dolly is a bulldog-beagle-Boston terrier mix named for the great American icon, Dolly Parton. She is a strong and mighty little dog who thinks she is a big dog and is equally sweet and stubborn. She also loves her human sisters, playing with other dogs, belly rubs, and treats!

Sissy likes to play with her toys, race thru the house and watch the Dish Scape channel when she's not taking long naps.

Angel is my trusty sidekick and driving partner. She is a loyal friend and companion. She enjoys walks around the neighborhood with her best dog-friend Maverick and is a glutton for duck jerky treats.

Binx, like many cats is a little bit of a jerk. However his purr is genuine and loud! His favorite thing to do is flop down on my head when I am trying to sleep. He also thinks he is starving all of the time! However, he is my furry friend and he likes to put his toy mice in my shoes for a morning surprise. I'm seriously thankful that they are not real. :)

Niffler is a friendly little guinea pig who is afraid of everything, enjoys hiding in his tunnels, and tolerates his humans dressing him up. He loves mint, apple pieces, and watermelon.

Magnus is an avid hiker and bird chaser. He enjoys singing along to the banjo and rolling around on his back. His boundless energy sometimes gets him into trouble, but his cuteness usually gets him back out of it.

Percy enjoys greeting passersby and welcoming them to his territory. He also loves hanging out with people when they are in the bathroom. In the evening he enjoys sitting by the fire with a catnip cigar.

Jim is a 16 pound beefcake who is passionate about kibble. He’s a three-time regional champion in both loafing and biscuit-making.

Hazel is a labrador retriever and besides eating, retrieving her ball is one of her most favorite activities! She also really enjoys riding in the car, napping on Dad's lap and getting her belly rubbed. While she was not initially thrilled to sport her LB bandana, she perked up once she learned she could wear it while fetching her ball!

Sassy is half fruit bat, half gargoyle, and half gorilla. She doesn't know that doesn't add up to 1 because she is a puppy and still learning math. She enjoys puppy playdates and chasing squirrels.

Copper is a French Brittany Spaniel. He likes to work at home as much as his mom does. When not working, he runs, runs, and runs some more. We are bottling up his energy and selling it on the dark web.

Bo likes the beach. He also likes to play, "rock" at the river. He loves going for walks to the park. He loves his mama the most. He is the bestest boy.

True to my breed, I’m always on duty, keeping a close watch on the perimeter every hour to make sure everything’s in order. I take my role as the family protector seriously, always ready to shepherd them wherever they go. But when the work is done, I’m all about playtime—just toss my ball, and we’re good to go! Family first, fun close second—that’s how I roll!

Hi, my name is Tank, and I'm an 11-year-old yellow lab who’s living the good life! Like any respectable lab, I never miss a meal—groceries are my favorite part of the day. I also have a soft spot for my blanket, Linus, which I carry around like a badge of comfort. But the real love of my life? My mom! Wherever she goes, I’m right there beside her, always ready to wag my tail or sneak in a cuddle. Life’s pretty sweet, especially when you’ve got food, warmth, and love!

Gerbils are just a few lbs. in size with long furry tails whose teeth continually grow so they chew on anything they can. Lula and Nola especially love to burrow, make cute little chittering sounds, and chew on boxes and toilet paper rolls. This photo posed a special challenge since they are very active!

I’m Lisi, a 4-year-old mix of pug, pit bull, boxer, and plot hound, living the dream as a shelter rescue turned queen of the ranch! Spoiled? Absolutely—and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Despite my pampered life, don’t be fooled—I’m an exceptional huntress when it comes to protecting my turf. Whether I’m chasing critters or lounging in luxury, I’ve got the best of both worlds. Life is good, and I’m here to make the most of it!

Klaus has had a very hard life, and came to live with us a couple of years ago. He had lived in a kennel his whole life, never gotten fixed, never been to the veterinarian, never been to the groomer. Now he is living the life of luxury at Casa Trask, and has become a loving and important member of the family.

Boscoe is a happy little couch hippo, always looking for a new place to nap. He’s afraid of the vacuum cleaner, the neighbor’s cat, and the laundry hanging on the clothesline. Definitely a lover, not a fighter!

Aneekah is a 13-year-old teenager with a seemingly perpetual side-eye and an air of aloof superiority, Aneekah possesses an undeniable charm that belies her haughty demeanor. Her large side eyes often give a judgmental gleam, as if silently assessing and critiquing every move of her hapless human companions. Yet, despite this stern, evaluative gaze, Neekah’s softly rounded features and plush, cuddly fur elicit an overwhelming urge to scoop her up and shower her with affection. This affection is often begrudgingly tolerated, at best. This complex blend of sassy attitude and irresistible adorableness makes Aneekah the perfect cat model.

Mandu is a sheepadoodle, half poodle half Old English Sheepdog. She like to be told she is pretty and will take all the pets she can get.

Zozo was rescued from a dog fighting ring in Tacoma at 1.5 years old after being used as a bait dog and for puppies. Despite her traumatic past, over the last 4 years I’ve had her she continues to blossom into a sweet, loving, funny, and confident sassy woman. She loves saying hi to anyone who looks her way and rolling around in any soft fluffy grass she can find.

Enjoys long walks on the beach, fine red wines and murder mysteries.

We adopted Tillerman in June. He was found as a stray in Pecos Texas and flown to Portland by the adoption agency. He is a very sweet little guy and is well behaved. He loves going for walks and spending time with us. He does not love baths and gets the zoomies right after. He gives great hugs.

Rory is a playful tease! He loves to bring us a toy, then will not let us have it! He is learning 'drop it'. He already knows how to sit, stand, high-five, shake, beg, spin and bow! He is a friend to everyone and loves to meet anyone, whether 2 or 4 legged. We are so lucky to have such a special boy.

Pippin (orange dingo-ish) is an abandoned rescue and Wrigley (black lab) is Pippin's emotional support dog. They love to chase each other and do silly antics when we get home.

Grendal loves attention and can usually be found on the couch under his favorite blanket. He also loves playing fetch, and is always happy to get treats.

Westley is a 65 lb. Golden Retriever who will fall down at your feet for a belly scratch and wag his whole body when he sees you coming. He is most often found chewing on whatever he can shred into little bits whether it's a stolen Hoka or his own harness. He walks, runs, bounds, pounces, and can lick a whole face within seconds.

Jersey is a border collie whose favorite activity is catching frisbees at the park, cuddling on my lap when I work from home. Her vice is her instinct to chase /herd anything on wheels.

Spruce loves to zoom from the yard to the couch to the yard again, leaving muddy footprints everywhere. He confuses pouncing on our faces with cuddling but is the sweetest boy if he ever gets tired. Give him some peanut butter, and he'll be your best friend forever—actually, he'll just be your best friend, no peanut butter needed!

Conway Pitty is a little bit country and a little bit rock n' roll and 100% lovable loaf. He loves soaking up the sun, cruising with his head out the car window, and using his big brown eyes to charm treats out of anyone he meets.

Maggie is a puppy at heart. She loves to play keep away, tug, and get the ball! She enjoys long walks and snuggling with her pack. Her absolute favorite things are swimming in any kind of water and the beach. And cookies...did someone say cookie?

Rosie enjoys prowling her backyard, rolling in the sunshine, and walking along her fence tops. She is a very successful "mouser" and brings in treasures at least once a week. She is very mothering and bonded to her dog sister. She loves to snuggle and sleep with her pack at night.

Sir Peanut is quite the dapper dude! He enjoys sunflower seeds, burrowing in fluff, and running in his exercise ball. His nickname is "Sir Runs A lot" as he speeds through the house in his plastic dome. He enjoys a good treat, fresh spinach and feta cheese are tops on his favorites list!

He is named after David Bowie. He was a return rescue and discounted. He loves to talk. He greats us with a happy bark and his wagging tail. He hates his photo being taken.

Stella is the boss of all other dogs. She is not aware that she is just a tiny little dog. Her favorite things are eating and sleeping. When she goes for a walk, she prefers to be carried at least half the way.

Kermit the Dog lives up to his namesake. He is scared of everything but is also so loveable. His hobbies also include running at the beach, eating couches, and snuggling. He will also, on occasion, eat a windowsill for a snack. He loves spending Wednesday and Friday nights hanging on the couch with mom watching the live broadcasts from the LBCC Birds Nest (gym) of the Lady Beaks keep up their winning streak! He proudly wears his Roadrunner gear around the neighborhood to show all the other pooches whose school is really the best!

Zeva is a 11-year-old Cane Corso who has never met a snack or meal she doesn't love, which as her grammy, I totally understand! She appreciates people who share said snacks or meals with her, however, if you aren't sharing, she has quite the glare. She prefers climate controlled environments (aka air conditioning and sheltered bathroom spaces in the winter) and enjoys playing keep away with her new 8-month-old brother, Fen.

Meet Tember, JorEl, and Bison—our three spoiled, energetic boys! Tember is the beautiful black lab with a heart of gold who adores snuggles and ball time at the park. JorEl, the regal German Shepherd, not only protects his family, but he showcases his striking looks, especially during his foot massages. And then there's Bison, our gentle giant Great Dane, whose elegant stature and loving nature make him a showstopper. Whether they are playing outside or relaxing with Pops, they fill our days with joy and adventure! 🐾❤️

Irvine once aspired to be a Guide Dog for the Blind but changed careers early on to instead serve as the Davis Family Dog, a position he’s held for 12 years. He likes hiking, kayaking, trauma therapy, and gardening.

Benny is by big rubber chicken. He especially loves to sneak into our bedroom and lie in wait for my husband to crawl into bed! He has a horriffic low horn sound when squeezed. Mr Jeckles is my standard yellow chicken, the pet Bandana would have smothered him. Mr Jeckles is well-traveled and loves to fly with me and entertain children on long flights!
