Periwinkle Child Development Center

The Periwinkle Child Development Center (PCDC) is a vibrant early childhood education facility at Linn-Benton Community College that serves children ages 2-5 years old. Recently renovated and thoughtfully designed, the PCDC emerged from LBCC's commitment to help students overcome barriers to completing their degrees, specifically the challenge of finding affordable, high-quality childcare. The center features a toddler classroom for ages 2-3 and three preschool classrooms for ages 3-5, serving LBCC students, staff, and community members. What makes Periwinkle unique is its dual purpose: while providing excellent childcare, it also functions as a teaching school where LBCC's Early Childhood Education students gain hands-on experience. The center welcomes children of all developmental stages and abilities, partners with LBL ESD to provide funded spaces for children with disabilities, and accepts Employment Related Daycare (ERDC) payments to ensure accessibility for all families.

This holiday season, we're delighted to present a special collection of holiday cards featuring artwork created by PCDC's talented young artists. We invite you to browse through their creative masterpieces below and consider purchasing these unique cards to share with your loved ones. Your support, whether through card purchases or direct donations to PCDC, will help ensure this vital resource continues to serve our student-parents and community while fostering creativity and learning in our youngest community members.
